Coldplay's recent India tour created massive buzz across social media platforms. Fans and celebrities noticed when Chris Martin, Coldplay's frontman, displayed a playful side. During Coldplay's final show in Ahmedabad Chris Martin jokingly announced his Telangana origins by saying "Everyone knows that I am from Telangana."
Chris Martin identified Guy Berryman as a native of Tamil Nadu and stated that drummer Will Champion fully belongs to Gujarati heritage from Ahmedabad. The moment took on greater significance when Chris Martin declared to the audience that his roots trace back to Telangana.
The actor posted "Chris Martin (heart emoji) welcome! We need a Podusthunna Poddumeeda X Coldplay mashup." A Podusthunna Poddumeeda and Coldplay mashup needs to be created.
Chakri composed the song while Gummadi Vittal Rao wrote and performed its lyrics. Vijay Deverakonda's latest film work was in The Family Star and he appeared briefly in Kalki 2898 AD. Vijay Deverakonda has several major upcoming projects including Gowtam Tinnanuri's directorial film titled VD12 and another unnamed project with Vivek Oberoi.

The song Podusthunna Poddumeeda originates from the 2011 film Jai Bolo Telangana which relates to the Telangana movement. The late Gummadi Vittal Rao who went by the name Gaddar composed the song which was created by the late Chakri.
